Kevin Aubert is a Dakar and Paris based director. He has a philosophy degree from the Sorbonne. He started his career thanks to music videos. He created the Blue Line studio (La ligne bleue) that gave him access to a wide variety of projects. In this period, he directed two documentaries and several commercials. Based in Dakar since september 2020, he worked as a managing director for the movie theater Ousmane Sembène Complex in 2020-2021 and proposed a new cultural line-up with cult and heritage movies. Writer as well, he devoted himself to the writing of several projects in Senegal among which a feature film in development stage. « Do not wake up the sleeping child » is the third short film that he wrote.
